In August my Dad drove from California with me back to Texas. Yes I ventured to California from Texas by myself with 4 kids. It wasn't that bad, but I won't be doing it again. While my Dad was here we went to the Stockyards in Fort Worth.

We also went to the Dallas Arboretum. It was beautiful, but it poured down rain on us.

First Day of School August 2010
I got bit by a fire ant and my left foot swelled up like a balloon.
In September we had a day where it rained and rained and actually flooded the trinity river right into one of the entrances to our neighborhood. There were also 3 tornado warnings that day!
